The process, in detail
You always know where things stand
No code before understanding. No hidden subscription. No annual contract. Here's how we work, from the first call to going live.
You always know where things stand
30-minute call
You describe the task that's bothering you. We tell you right there whether it's within our scope — and if it isn't, we tell you now, not three weeks from now.
Diagnostic
We spend half a day at your place — or remotely by video call if you prefer — mapping what repeats: who does it, how long it takes, what it truly costs. You leave with a written report — what can be automated, what isn't worth the effort, and where to start. The report is yours, even if you don't go further.
Prototype
A first working version you can touch. That's where we discover what we misunderstood — while it's still easy to change.
Development
We build the real version from what the prototype taught us. You see the progress, not just the final result.
Delivery
The tool is live and your people are trained. We stay available the first few weeks — real questions surface in usage, never during training.
Hosting and beyond
We host your tool, keep it up to date, monitor it, and make small tweaks. You have no server to manage. And if Masko were ever to cease operations, your code would be handed over to you — it's in the contract, not a promise.
Why the diagnostic is paid
We bill the diagnostic for two reasons. First: it's work — we spend half a day at your place understanding your processes, timing them, writing the report. Second: it filters. A business owner who agrees to pay for a diagnostic is one with a real problem who takes their decision seriously. That's the client we want.
The report is yours, even if you don't hire us afterwards. That's our word.
Why monthly hosting
An application lives. It needs to be hosted, monitored when it falls, updated when a browser changes its rules. The monthly covers all that, plus small tweaks (a label, a color, a field).
What it does NOT cover: brand-new full features. Those are quoted separately, on demand.
Why the continuity clause
The number-one objection to the hosted model is "what if you stop?". The answer is written in your contract: if Masko ceases operations, we hand over your full data export (reservations, customer history, plans) within 30 days, in standard SQL + CSV format so you can import into any other system. Your data stays yours, from day one.
What we don't do
We don't do generic showcase sites (there are dozens of studios for that). We don't install pre-made Shopify, WordPress or Wix (again, plenty of others). We don't take on large-enterprise mandates — that's not our market.
We build custom software for SMBs that lose hours every week on repetitive tasks and have never had access to a developer.
